Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 31, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RecordStamp ("Service"), a blockchain-based document timestamping service operated by Pueblo Internet Publishing LLC, doing business as Blockchain Integration Strategies ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
RecordStamp provides document timestamping by:
- Computing a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of your document locally in your browser
- Recording that hash on a public blockchain with a timestamp
- Allowing verification that a specific document existed at a specific point in time
⚠️ IMPORTANT: A RecordStamp timestamp proves that a document EXISTED at a particular time. It does NOT prove ownership, authorship, copyright, originality, or any legal rights to the document.
2. What RecordStamp Is NOT
RecordStamp is NOT:
- A substitute for copyright registration, patent filing, or trademark registration
- A legal service, legal advice, or attorney-client relationship
- A notarization or certification service
- A document storage service (we never receive or store your files)
- A guarantee of legal admissibility in any jurisdiction
Consult a qualified attorney for legal advice regarding intellectual property protection.
3. Free Service and Rate Limits
✓ RecordStamp is free to use. We do not charge any fees. You pay only the blockchain network gas fee, which goes directly to network validators — not to us.
To prevent abuse, the Service enforces rate limits on stamping:
- Default limit: 1 stamp per wallet address per day
- Higher limits: Available upon request for users with legitimate needs
- Verification: Always free and unlimited, with no rate limits
Rate limits are enforced by the smart contract and reset daily (UTC). If you need more stamps per day, please contact us at blockchainintegrationstrategies.com to discuss higher allotments.
4. Gas Fees
Each stamp transaction requires a network gas fee paid in the native cryptocurrency of the selected blockchain (e.g., MON on Monad). Gas fees are paid directly to blockchain validators and are not collected, controlled, or refundable by us. You are responsible for having sufficient funds in your wallet to cover gas costs.
5. Blockchain Immutability
You acknowledge that:
- Blockchain records are permanent and cannot be deleted or modified
- Your wallet address is publicly visible as the registrant
- Transaction details (hash, timestamp, address) are public information
- We cannot remove or alter any timestamp once recorded
6. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your cryptocurrency wallet and private keys
- Having sufficient funds for gas costs
- Retaining the original, unmodified document for future verification
- Storing any salt values used (salted hashes require the original salt to verify)
- Verifying you are on the correct network before transacting
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Timestamp documents containing illegal content
- Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or illegal activities
- Spam or abuse the network, including attempting to circumvent rate limits
- Exploit, hack, or interfere with the smart contract or website
- Use multiple wallets to circumvent per-wallet rate limits
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Timestamps will be legally admissible in any jurisdiction
- The underlying blockchain networks will continue to operate
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- Rate limits or allotments will remain at their current levels
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUEBLO INTERNET PUBLISHING LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pueblo Internet Publishing LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party blockchain networks and infrastructure. We are not responsible for their operation, availability, or security.
